on Monday i dropped off the accord and was told later that day the accord was not covered under warranty and so i called AHM in Torrance,CA. A case manager opened up a case and investigated, the car did indeed have warranty for 7 yrs or 100,000 miles and is covered until feb 28 2007. So i called the dealer and make a long story short and bunch of Bull shit happened until today when the case manager called up the dealership and ordered them to replace the entire transmission and drivetrain.Plus they had to give me a rental which is a 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8S. its a piece of shit literally and has horrible gas milage for a 1.8 nothing compared to the Rolla. So the accord is getting a brand spanking new tranny, My rolla is going to be up and running by next saturday ( need to send the rest of the payoff for the motor in houston) i got it for 300 bucks! with 39K miles from a junkyard my uncle found over there. So i guess thats about it and everything is getting better. the case manager in CA even told me herself that the 98-02 Gen Accord have the most problems Honda has ever had with any of thier vehicles. so don't get one a V6 for that matter. if you have a V6 model get rid of it and go out and buy a Camry. My mom was so pissed she actually went out and started car shopping today and she wants a Camry or a Prius or a Tacoma, or her last option a GMC Sierra SLT. But i have no idea what she is going to buy. she jsut walks in and in, test drives and drives away in 20 minutes off the lot with a new vehicle. she even called up the bank so she could trade it in and they said " Sure everything on your credit is in perfect condition right now" "You have a perfect report right now and you have the funds its your choice". So i hope to get here in a new vehicle by sometime next week as soon as the accord come out of the shop.

05' and 06' i think she likes the XLE but the 4 cyl. the V6 gets the same gas milage the accord gets and she wants something a bit better and she said she is willing to downgrade on the engine.

The 4 Cyl Camry still has decent power, its a torquey 4 Cyl...

yeah theyare torquey but make a bit much on noise,but my mom does not even drive over the speed limit so it should do well for her, my dad and i are the complete opposite though he keeps a stay speed not like me i weave though traffic sometimes.

yeah the Tacos they had start at 25K and up and the one she wants is about 30K. Today we test drove an 06 Avalon and dang do those things got power. the ride is super smooth and the drives awesome. the one we test drove was black ext, with a beige int. that sucker can pick up lighting quick for a car its size.

Get this they had six 4-cyl camrys drive off the lot. Ten arrived while we were there and 7 of those ten got sold on the spot literally. they were very low on Rollas and all the echos were gone.The Prius and Highlander hybrids were now on back order to as much as six months. the Avalon is bigger, more powerful and gets 22 city and 31 hwy and the Camry V6 gets 21 city and 28 hwy. the Avalon XLS was the freaking kool.

All 4 cyl were gone and all that remained were V6's and 4x4's.

they were sold out of X-Runners until the next two months. that is when they will recieve some more and she needs a car asap.

she is stuck between the Avalon XLS we test drove and a camry XLE. the XLS was pricing for 33K and the XLE was for 31 and that was a v6 because there were no more 4-cyl but i have a feeling she will wait until a 4-cyl XLE arrives. i don't know but i get that feeling, and she said if none come within a week say fridayish she will go for the Avalon more than likely but white pearl ext w/beige interior.

yeah i convinced her to stay with toyota but i dunno since the nearby Honda Dealer is willing to give her the full amount of what the accord it worth which is a little over 10K, the Toyota dealer is offering only 8K so i hope she goes with the toyota either way because sometimes there is no telling what she is going to do.

no ofense or anything dood this is gonna sound kinda disrespectful but u know I don't mean it but WOMEN DOOD they never know what they want, they're always changing their minds at the last minute too but well gotta love them though and well hopefully she'll stay with Toyota.

i can lock her funds if i feel she is going to make the wrong decision, since i am the primary estate account holder. Plus i do and don't really care since she can afford anthing she wants but if she screws up it makes it look bad on me and my credit and that is something i do not want to mess up since i just got everything cleared upo recently.But she has her own money and she can get pretty much whatever she wants. I am helping here for the down payment of 8K dollars so that is why i am saying i can lock the funds if neccesary but i highly doubt i will do that unless she pisses me off for some stupid reason (me and her have not really gotten along for about 5 yrs now).

today i was told the Accord will not be ready till either friday or tuesday of next week so it looks like i am stuck with the rental but its not so bad i now know where the "perfect shifts" are so now it takes off a bit better but still lags in power.so far i have put an astounding 384 miles in three and a half days!

the company said it would be here by saturday morning. if it does get here by then i will spend the day putting it on and testing till i see its in good running condition. i still have to get tires,new headlight bulbs,inpection(i doubt it will pass needs the cat) and the liscense plates re-newal and state inpection sticker ao i am looking at about 600 total i am spending.

oh yeah if anyone has any stock hubcaps from a 98-00 model like hellapinoy's or the 01-02 corolla and want to get rid of them let me know because i prefer the stock hubcaps instead of aftermarket ones. it will be only for a while till i get a new set of rims.PM and let me know thanks R.A.Rdz.

ebay won't let me order anything right now and right now i do not have an account anymore i just closed it already. and i am not about to ask my parents for thier account numbers or any of my friends. i prefer just to send a certified check or money order to people i know a bit more from here than from e-bay imo.

Just got word my Honda will be ready tomorrow morning. It has all new parts and components. They replaced the enitre tranny, axles, and pretty much everything except the engine. I am very glad.Finally i will get back a car that has more power this crappy Sentra will probably ever have.The Corolla has been in the shop since saturday and should be ready by friday as well. This has been really looking up though ther will be only a short time to have fun with.

Today i got the Honda back at around 1730 and damn what a difference. the power was oh my gawd compared to the Sentra and gas was damn it does not use anything i am now averaging 25 MPG! in the city. now tomorrow i am going to take it in to get an apprasail value so we can trade it in hopefully. Now to get my Rolla out by Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well i got it running earlier this morning until i hit another dead end. That is i popped both tires on the right side and landed over a curb. it was raining this morning when i swerved to avoid hitting a dog in the streets. (my tires have no grip at all and i was on my way to sears to get a new set). Well here is the bad part, though there is a good part to this as well. My tranny is making grinding noises now and it won't go past 30ish mph. the dog's owner said he would pay for any damages caused to my tranny, Earlier this moring he bought me two new tires (for the two that blew out, i nought the other two) So right now my car is back in the shop and tomorrow i will have another tranny installed if need be I found one for 350 and the guy said he would pay for it. so i will wait and see what happens tomorrow. But for the two hours my car was working it sounded beautiful to hear it once again.i will update tomorrow. on the status on my car.
