What should i get, i don't have much money...

 Hey Im Brian and im new to this forum. I own a 03 Silver CE Corolla, and the only things ive mangaged to afford were blue head lights and highbeams, red int dome light, and some matching red seat belt covers, although i opened my airbox which makes my engine louder and hopefully louder, i dont' have much money and im willing to take suggestions from people in here on what to do next, i am also planning to do the whole clear blinker lights thing cuz that will make it the shit, oh and i found some nice gunmetal altessa lights down in chinatown (the hookup) if anyone is interested, oh and headers for a GSR for a low ass 120$, stainless. THanx :D

    Brian-
What do you mean by "opened the airbox"? If you took the lid off I suggest you put it back. In essence you are drawing dirty hot air into the engine....dirt kills engines. The intake noise produced does not necessarily mean better performance in this instance.

Put it back stock and save your $$ for an Injen or AEM CAI which replaces the airbox and reduces the number of turns the air has to make to enter the throttle body along with a constant size intake. Both systems use a cone filter for a larger intake & filtering area. EL Prototypes (I believe that's correct) is also working on a cold air intake for the '03 models...about 6-8 weeks before it's ready. There are also shorty intakes available. Same idea but they draw underhood air and don't provide as much HP increase as the cold air which draws from in front of the left front fender almost directly beneath the battery.

I found what they look like. They are kinda grayish looking. I like the chromed ones better. I am waiting for other ones. I don't like the lights they made for the Corolla. I dunno, but i don't really like the horizontal lines going across the lights. I know the stock lights have them too, but they are not as visible as they are in the chrome and gunmetal. I like the GUNMETAL rims, but they only look good on certain color cars  .

Well someone had some of those "gunmetal" rims and they called it that, so i dunno if it's really what they are. if you go there, there's a picture of a "gunmetalmotegi MR7s" on Zero's corolla. I think it's nice on his car, but if i don't think it would look good on a Blue corolla. topic 72

hum...do they happen to have the chrome lights that angle was talking about down in C-town?? i live up in Hollywood hills, just bought my Corolla S in november and i want to tint the windows, clear corners or chrome lights in back. (any one know what the legal tint rule is, for all windows??) then maybe a blueish head light for my headlights and insted of the black cover that only show the light i want it to be white, my Car is white as well i just only want the lights to show. also im new to this whole make your car sweet and all. i have cash, the only thing is i need to know what they do and if some one can help install....i am like car stupid, how ever i can drive a car like no tommorow, my family has raced cars, motor bikes, boats...but i only learn the fun stuff..racing. im not wanting to set my car up for racing or noz or anything i just want it to look good. so if any of you guy/girls can help me that would be cool. and anyone in the LA/Hollywood area that has room for one more pal with an 03 or even a corolla then hit me up.

    ~Peace~

I think white rims would look nice. I know this one guy that has white rims for his civic and it's nice. At first it looked a lil funny, but then i thought about it and was like, chromed ones might not look as nice as white ones, it won't stand out as much. I think the whole white/blue theme is good. I wanted to get some super white neons for my car, but my mom thinks it's dangerous, don't ask me why, cuz i couldn't tell ya why.

corol_typ_S03 -- you sound like me, car stupid. I think the people here are tired of all my questions. :? I think you should join a car club. People say it's very helpful. I dunno what the legal rule for tinted windows are in California, but in NC it's 35%, but i heard that tinting gets darker over the years, so you might want to do a 17% tint (especially if you live in Southern Cali, where the sun always shine), so you won't have to take it off if it gets too dark for the inspection.

I hate getting the windows tinted. They don't last, they leave streaks when you have them taken off, plus they attract more attention than it already is. So for this Corolla, it will be a clean look, no tints and keeping the stock body kit. All the investments is strictly performance and handling.
