    I don't think it would be a good idea to get custom seat covers cuz we have side airbags in our seats. So, when we get hit on the side and the seat cover's covering the side airbag preventing it from popping out may pose a problem.

    Perhaps your does but it is in the minority. What you said makes good sense for those that have side airbags.
