    Window Tinting

hey i wanted to get my windows tinted and was wondering how much an average 5 window tint job would cost (4 door windows and the rear). I know of a place that will charge me 250 for all of this.. is that cheap or average? and do any of you know of a place in san jose, CA that i could get a cheaper price w/ people who will do a good job? Thanks in advance.

I paid ~$160 for all mine except the eyebrow which would've been an extra $10. That $120 deal sounds really good. $250 is waaaaay too much.

J&C Window Tinting off of Monterey Road. South of Tully but before Capitol. If youre goin south on Monterey road, it'll be on the right hand side. there's a tinting shop where Thunder Alley used to be, but they charge hella. Go down a block or two, you'll see J&C Tinting by TECH3 Performance Shop where they charge 179.99 for all 7 windows(back, 2 windows on each of the back doors, and the front windows) with a lifetime guarantee. They did the tint on my bro's 02 celica and I think they're pretty good. Where's this place in San Mateo for $120?

jibran from ncfour.com said his tint faded to purple. and so did ure bro's right? but then they provided warranty so hopefully they will honor that.

The shop I'm going to go to offers lifetime warranty. The tint he has is not a brown but black....even if you get 35% it still looks more like a charcole color then a brown.($150 for all the windows)

This is the place in San Mateo. $120 for 7 windows with lifetime guarantee. Ask for Frank. He's gonna ask for $180 for 7 windows but you can deal with him to get $120. :) Good luck ;)

DUDES YOUR PAYING WAY TO MUCH I LIVE HERE IN HONDURAS AND THERE CHARGING $75 US FOR ANY TINTING ON THE ROLLAS AND IT COMES AS A STOCK OPTION ON THE COROLLA IF YOU BUY IT FROM THE DEALERSHIP PLUS YOU GET LIFETIME WARRANTY TO CHANGE IT WHENEVER YOU WANT AND AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WANT. COOL HUH SEEMS LIKE THATS THE ONLY GOOD THING THAT YOU CAN FIND ON COROLLAS.

Just as a reference -- I live in SoCal so I won't bother mentioning what shop -- but I paid $120 for my seven windows, and it comes with the lifetime guarantee.

    whats ilumnar?

im thinking of like either 70% in front and 35% in back or 50% all around or 50% in front and 35% in back. what do u guys think on a blue corolla? cuz i dont wanna attract cops too much but still have a pretty discrete tint in the front

i have 35% all around. i haven't gotten any attenion from cops. u can see my tint at the meet randy.

but 35% is very light, during the day time, but at night it looks very clean and dark. 70% in the front will not even be noticable day or night.

    but its up to you.

I'm interested where you went. I live in Huntington Beach. Aside from the lifetime warranty, how clean do they look and how long have you had 'em?
I'm looking for a good tint job at a decent price.
