    windshield washers

Does anyone else know how to clean out the washer? The other day I was waxing the hood and I got some polish on the washer. I cleaned it out a day later with a toothpick and got most of it out but water only comes out of on hole. Is there a way to unscrew the whole washer and clean it out from there? Help please.....thanks!

Try using an 8 gage guitar string to clear out the holes.

Is it possible to disconnect the washer from the hood and clean it out from there? One more thing, if I take it to Toyota, is this covered under warranty to fix it. Help, please!...Thanks a lot!

I've installed clear LED nozzles. It wasn't an easy task considering it took a long time to PROPERLY remove the screws holding the under hood panel. My best suggestion to removing the screws is by using small scissors to press the inner clips on the screw (the sides are indicated on the head of the screw) so that it pops out, NOT PULLED OUT. Pull off the tubing from the nozzles. Then push the nozzle clips like the screws and they pop out.

If you want to remove the wax, have you tried using a needle?

    Hope this helps...
