well, stupid honda says the old D17 motor found in the civic EX has vtec...in reality it doesnt. what it has is some lesser form of vtec maybe only...
now, i know that the 3S-GTE is a badass engine...but seriously, for 5K-7K, you could swap a 2ZZ-GE with a 6 speed manual, and then probably add on...
