    The directions say: "Locate 5 grounding points. Each vehicle may be different." You did it right. I hooked up the 3 wires to my engine cover stud...

    What do you use to wash/detail your car?

    Looks pretty close to the same installation as mine. I wouldn't worry about the heat...that wire is heat resistant.
